Iris is a registered psychologist with a Master of Counselling Psychology from La Trobe University. She is a warm and non-judgmental therapist, with experience working in private practice, community health, and school and university settings.

Iris works with adolescents (15+) through to older adults experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, stress and burnout, grief and loss, transitional life changes, adjustment issues, relationship issues, sleep disturbance, self-esteem issues, trauma-related issues, academic/workplace difficulties, and gender development and identity issues. Iris is an LGBTQI aware and affirmative clinician.

Iris is passionate about understanding her clients’ unique stories and providing a safe, supportive space to work collaboratively towards healing and growth. She uses a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Writing Therapy.

Clients are welcome to see Iris without a referral, with a Mental Health Care Plan referral from a GP or specialist, or using private health insurance.
